Idiazábal's Prudencio Beat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Sesuldo in the 19th minute of play. Prudencio Beat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Jokin in the 23rd minute of play. Romeo Locaio in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Haroldo Rexino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Falda FC booed when Idiazábal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Falda FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Romeo Locaio made the kick off in the second half. Luis Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Romeo Locaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Rexino was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Tomás Florian came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Prudencio Beat could save by the left post. Haroldo Rexino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Locaio's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Txatxu couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Beat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Sesuldo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 83 minute of play. After 86 played minutes Idiazábal got a freekick which was hit by Saul Amor. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Dominguez during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Falda FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Tomás Florian's late challenge caught a Idiazábal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
