Club Atletico Boca Junior were furious when Atilano Chayo was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 40 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Ponce came free, but Teo Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Ezequiel Iigo made a precise shot to the right of Teo Millan. Club Atletico Boca Junior's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. In the 89th minute, Saul Amor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teo Millan. The goal made the score 1-8. After 93 minutes of play, Club Atletico Boca Junior's Urbano Formerio made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Beat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Idiazábal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
