The referee gave Newells a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ignacio Tiadoro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VILLA FC's Filomeno Sabin. 2-0. Filomeno Sabin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ignacio Tiadoro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. The supporters of Newells booed when VILLA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Teofilo Grabiel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Filomeno Sabin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, Teofilo Grabiel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filomeno Sabin, 5-0. Casimiro Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Teofilo Grabiel took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Filomeno Sabin to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Aquilino Cordeal took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Casimiro Iztal to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th minute Ignacio Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Sabin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to VILLA FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Federico Sol hit a great ball. Filomeno Sabin came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Newells's Ignacio Tiadoro. But to his dismay, Ignacio Tiadoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. But to his dismay, Alfredo Paz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. 76 minutes into the match, Newells's goalkeeper Casimiro Iztal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Fernanco. After 79 played minutes VILLA FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Reyes. In the 92nd minute Alfredo Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Sabin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes VILLA FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Atarratze. After 95 minutes of play, Newells's Alfredo Paz made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Sabin was left in no man's land by his defense there!
