Alberigo Piacentini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Matai kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Primitivo Viviano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberigo Piacentini. Llamarada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Viviano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Llamarada's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Viviano came free, but Alberigo Piacentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Fernando Martxel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llamarada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Independiente the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Llamarada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C. A. Independiente:s goal. The supporters of Llamarada booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Berriotxoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Maximo Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Llamarada's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Flores came free, but Alberigo Piacentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Flores stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Miguel Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Flores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberigo Piacentini was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. With a little luck, Llamarada's Alberigo Piacentini got control of the ball when Primitivo Viviano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramon Tximitx came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Llamarada's Jaime Demario. But to his dismay, Jaime Demario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 77 minutes, Jaime Demario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llamarada and the C. A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute of the match C. A. Independiente got a corner. Llamarada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Iaki ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 82 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Victor Herena. In the 86th play minute Primitivo Viviano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alberigo Piacentini. 2-4. 93 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Urbes came free, but Ramon Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Mateo Ipar hit a great ball. When Miguel Xabel fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Llamarada's protests and gave Miguel Xabel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Miguel Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. A. Independiente played a much better game than Llamarada and deserved their victory. The Llamarada players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
