The supporters of River Plate booed when Receptoría FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Fagondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Serafin Hondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Udalaitz lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 28 minutes into the game, one of Receptoría FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for River Plate. Ariel Piarres stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Serafin Hondo. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Chorche got free with Remigio Mazuste in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Chorche to make the kick off. In the 67thth minute of the game Ubaldo Fagondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Remigio Mazuste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Ubaldo Fagondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Receptoría FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Fagondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. River Plate's Remigio Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Chorche in the 73rd minute of play. Enrique Duardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justino Eliu charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Eliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Justino Eliu got a free kick in the 77th minute. Herminio Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Remigio Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
