Atlético Posadas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Receptoría FC the free kick. A collision led to Atlético Posadas FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Eriberto Calvet hit a great ball. Atlético Posadas FC's Edelmiro Jago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Chorche in the 28th minute of play. Receptoría FC's Serafin Hondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Receptoría FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Receptoría FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Anibal Pierres hit a great ball. Damian Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Serafin Hondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Barros took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Hondo. Serafin Hondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Anibal Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Jago having to interfere. If Damian Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eriberto Calvet made the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Jago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Chorche in the 56th minute. Serafin Hondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelmiro Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Damian Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Atlético Posadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Fagondo came free, but Edelmiro Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Mannuel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Posadas FC's zone, Herminio Chorche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Jago came out of the goal and Herminio Chorche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute of the match Teofilo Kelemen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Jago skillfully saved the ball. Serafin Hondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Calvet in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ubaldo Fagondo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Receptoría FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Calvet in the 90th minute of play forced Receptoría FC's goalkeeper Serafin Hondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Atlético Posadas FC were the better team. Atlético Posadas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
