Christian Urtun hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Bocasucias's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Alferink came free, but Diego Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Christian Urtun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bocasucias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palomar United the free kick. Arsenio Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Toribio having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Palomar United got a freekick which was hit by Matt Lüdi. In the 14th minute of the match, Aureliano Chago tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonardo Guerrero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th match minute, Bocasucias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Marz to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes of play, Bocasucias's Nicolas Leobardo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Guerrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Luis Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Leobardo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonardo Guerrero firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arsenio Montay's late challenge caught a Bocasucias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Montay helped the player get up and apologised. Arsenio Montay hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play Palomar United's Arsenio Montay was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Arsenio Montay kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Bocasucias's Diego Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Alferink in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Palomar United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nicolas Leobardo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 46th minute, Amado Galeno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bocasucias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Chago to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 54 minutes, Heiko Alferink made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bocasucias's Diego Toribio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Alferink in the 57th minute of play. Palomar United's Leonardo Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Leobardo in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Bocasucias booed when Palomar United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Chago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heiko Alferink who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Diego Toribio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 67th play minutes Aureliano Chago shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Leonardo Guerrero and just under the crossbar into goal. Leonardo Guerrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Chago went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Palomar United's Ricardo Deunoro got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heiko Alferink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Diego Toribio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Palomar United's Ricardo Deunoro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Bocasucias's Diego Toribio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Bocasucias from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bocasucias fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palomar United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
