With an all-out effort, Bocasucias's Fabricio Erdiano threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aureliano Chago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the game, Nicolas Leobardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fabricio Erdiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nicolas Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maizales FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Erdiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Nicolas Leobardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fabricio Erdiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Maizales FC booed when Bocasucias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Asteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Aureliano Chago put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabricio Erdiano. The supporters of Maizales FC booed when Bocasucias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Urtun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 60th minute Aureliano Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Leobardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Aureliano Chago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Fabricio Erdiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Derwin got free with Diego Toribio in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Erdiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Lehen in the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Aureliano Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Erdiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Chago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nicolas Leobardo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bocasucias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Leobardo couldn't finish the play. Ildefonso Ibar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Leobardo in the 93rd minute of play forced Maizales FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Erdiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Maizales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Chago came free, but Fabricio Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Erdiano having to interfere.
