Felix Lain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Justo Peter made a huge save. If Victoriano Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Azeari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victoriano Oliveiro went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 23rd match minute, Dep Dinam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. When Vladimiro Lluc fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fuerza Aerea Argentina's protests and gave Vladimiro Lluc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Vladimiro Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Napier in the 31st minute of play forced Fuerza Aerea Argentina's goalkeeper Justo Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match German Donio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Azeari skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Felix Lain sped through Fuerza Aerea Argentina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justo Peter. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejo Txurio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Justo Peter. That made the score 3-2 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Napier made a kick off. Justo Peter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep Dinam. Justo Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Pacifico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Victoriano Oliveiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep Dinam's Haroldo Azeari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Alejo Txurio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justo Peter. Fuerza Aerea Argentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejo Txurio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Haroldo Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Dep Dinam's Alejo Txurio got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Fuerza Aerea Argentina booed when Dep Dinam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alejo Txurio took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justo Peter. Justo Peter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. After some careless play in the Fuerza Aerea Argentina defense, Felix Lain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Peter. The Fuerza Aerea Argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Peter should have stopped the shot.
