After 5 minutes of play, Franco Canadiense's Narciso Seme made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Cordaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Adan Calisto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franco Canadiense's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Calisto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Cordaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Pedro Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Fernan Bernaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franco Canadiense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ALYTA the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Franco Canadiense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Bernaldo to maneuver through the defense. Siro Beltxe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roman Cordaro. ALYTA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 31 minutes of play ALYTA's Osvaldo Etxekopar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to ALYTA getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Osvaldo Etxekopar hit a great ball. Franco Canadiense's Narciso Seme got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes ALYTA got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Teofilio. After the first half Franco Canadiense were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Narciso Seme made the kick off in the second half. ALYTA's Pedro Teofilio got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Franco Canadiense's zone, Narciso Clodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Salvidor came out of the goal and Narciso Clodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ALYTA's Herminio Rivero got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Teofilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Salvidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Teofilio ran back to his position shaking his head. ALYTA's Herminio Rivero got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Herminio Rivero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Salvidor. Franco Canadiense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Rivero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 71st match minute, Franco Canadiense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Benino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Teofilio in the 73rd minute of play forced Franco Canadiense's goalkeeper Diego Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, ALYTA's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Seme came free, but Roman Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Pedro Teofilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALYTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Saul Giro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Roman Cordaro made a huge save. Diego Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Rivero, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Narciso Seme charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Seme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Franco Canadiense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Seme to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Pablo Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Cordaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Cordaro made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Saul Giro sent off a good shot on target. ALYTA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
