When Albariño AFC's Narciso Abechuco, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Albariño AFC. 11 minutes into the match, Pedro Teofilio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Gregory. Albariño AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Teofilio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Osvaldo Etxekopar struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ceferino Gregory didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALYTA. After 21 played minutes ALYTA got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Nikola. Roman Cordaro was a little too slow when Narciso Abechuco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-2. With a little luck, ALYTA's Roman Cordaro got control of the ball when Florencio Tercero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, ALYTA's Edgard Nikola got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rodolfo Ciceron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roman Cordaro. ALYTA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roman Cordaro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Isidro Marz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Abechuco in the 33rd minute of play forced ALYTA's goalkeeper Roman Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pedro Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Tercero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Roman Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Teofilio to make the kick off. Albariño AFC's Ceferino Gregory proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Albariño AFC from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Pedro Teofilio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ceferino Gregory, 2-3. Roman Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Tercero in the 69th minute of play. ALYTA's Roman Cordaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Lain in the 78th minute of play. Herminio Rivero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceferino Gregory read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, ALYTA's Pedro Teofilio made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceferino Gregory was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ceferino Gregory made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Teofilio in the 92nd minute. Roman Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Tercero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 97 in the game by Pedro Teofilio from a close distance when the talented Ceferino Gregory managed to make a qualified save. Albariño AFC's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Teofilio during the 100th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 100th minute, Pedro Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ALYTA played a much better game than Albariño AFC and deserved their victory. The Albariño AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
