Horacio Gar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Eguzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Bartolo Maties had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Bartolome. Porteña's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Maties was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Igor Bartolome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Porteña booed when Locura Canalla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Porteña defense, Bartolo Maties kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Bartolome. The Porteña fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Bartolome should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Francisco Fabregas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Igor Bartolome was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Bartolome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Maties in the 35th minute of the match. When Horacio Gar came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Porteña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Gar couldn't finish the play. Jesus Errando hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Francisco Fabregas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Bartolome was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 45th play minutes Francisco Fabregas shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Igor Bartolome and just under the crossbar into goal. The Porteña players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Locura Canalla FC were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Santiago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Horacio Gar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bartolo Maties came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Locura Canalla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Maties couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Maties scored 0-7 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Bartolome, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Francisco Fabregas sped through Porteña's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Igor Bartolome. Eduardo Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bartolome having to interfere. Igor Bartolome was a little too slow when Francisco Fabregas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-9. If Francisco Fabregas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Maties could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Igor Bartolome made a huge save. Igor Bartolome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Fabregas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Daunte hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Horacio Gar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Locura Canalla FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Porteña throughout the match.
