Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Javier Eufrasio got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Vergara's Timoteo Dolfo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Arnoldo Iratxo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Hector Salvadore took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Gabrio. Feliberto Gabrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, Hector Salvadore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Unión Alem Progreso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Vergara's Javier Eufrasio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurinho Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Abelardo Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vergara's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Gaztea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurinho Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uriel Huly walked up to take care of the penalty kick. Vergara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simeon Haracherov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 40 minutes, Aldo Conrao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vergara and the Club Unión Alem Progreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Unión Alem Progreso booed when Vergara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Conrao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Hector Salvadore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliberto Gabrio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Javier Eufrasio came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Vergara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Eufrasio couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Abaunza to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Paolo Abaunza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliberto Gabrio, 0-4. Maurinho Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Eufrasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Club Unión Alem Progreso were awarded a corner. Hector Salvadore went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 75th minute, Javier Eufrasio made a precise shot to the right of Maurinho Miranda. Club Unión Alem Progreso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. A collision led to Vergara getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Javier Eufrasio hit a great ball. Jonas Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Maurinho Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Abaunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Feliberto Gabrio made a huge save. Ermegildo Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Maurinho Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Club Unión Alem Progreso were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Vergara's much stronger midfield.
