Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nunez Janpier got the match started through his kick off. Abelardo Gaztea struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Roberto Aureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vergara. Javier Eufrasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Roberto Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, GRAN LUCILA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Gaztea came free, but Roberto Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Gaztea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Boni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Aureo. GRAN LUCILA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Abelardo Gaztea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roberto Aureo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximino Bernal hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Roberto Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Gaztea in the 34th minute of play. Vergara's Abelardo Gaztea got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Eufrasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Roberto Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Aureo came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Vergara's Javier Eufrasio. But to his dismay, Javier Eufrasio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Vergara defense, Teodosio Caitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Gabrio. The Vergara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Gabrio should have stopped the shot.

Roberto Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Eufrasio in the 52nd minute of the match. Javier Eufrasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Roberto Aureo made a huge save. Javier Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Nunez Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Gabon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roberto Aureo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermegildo Gabon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 71st minute. When Vergara's Javier Eufrasio in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GRAN LUCILA FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Cordaro during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes GRAN LUCILA FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Cordaro. Bernabe Guilabertus hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Uriel Huly was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Vergara's Abelardo Gaztea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Aureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in GRAN LUCILA FC's zone, Javier Eufrasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Aureo came out of the goal and Javier Eufrasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vergara's Abelardo Gaztea got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Vergara's Javier Eufrasio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Aureo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute Javier Eufrasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teodosio Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vergara played a much better game than GRAN LUCILA FC and deserved their victory. The GRAN LUCILA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
