Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The Zeledon Macario was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Orlando Raitin might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Macario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Raitin ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Somos Mar del Plata's Cirilo Barros got a free kick in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Somos Mar del Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Frutos came free, but Cecilio Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Saturnino Enol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeledon Macario, 3-3.
