The coaching staff of katinga protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Damaso Isadore had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Damaso Isadore hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jeferson Tasso struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Casimiro Handi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for katinga. Edelmiro Pero's late challenge caught a Robabici AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Pero helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes katinga got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Pero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Dolfo got free with Joakim Dahlberg in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebio Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Joakim Dahlberg made a huge save. In the 35th match minute, Robabici AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celedonio Ramone in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joakim Dahlberg saved katinga from getting behind. Eusebio Dolfo scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joakim Dahlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Dolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joakim Dahlberg having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

katinga's Florencio Naldo was substituted for Saturnino Alonso. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celedonio Ramone to make the kick off. In the 59th minute Celedonio Ramone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Hernan Basualdo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of katinga's Joakim Dahlberg. Casimiro Handi stood somewhat misplaced when Jeferson Tasso came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 87 minute. katinga's Joakim Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Ramone in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the katinga defense, Norberto Bartoli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joakim Dahlberg. The katinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joakim Dahlberg should have stopped the shot.
