Juan Lore kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Yuto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Jon came free, but Alejo Sidoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Hermon might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejo Sidoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimiro Hermon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute, Juan Lore made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Firmo. Lima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julio Miro charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Miro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yuto AFC! When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Lima's Vladimiro Hermon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alejo Sidoro. With a little luck, Yuto AFC's Alejo Sidoro got control of the ball when Vladimiro Hermon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vladimiro Hermon to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Aurelio Nataniel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Inocencio Firmo, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Jon in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Sidoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inocencio Firmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Hermon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Paulo Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Vladimiro Hermon came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Lima fans jumped to their feet. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Sidoro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Yuto AFC's Juan Lore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Firmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The Yuto AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yuto AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
