Amado Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trinidad Plummer having to interfere. Aaron Uxio struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Aquilino Ermengol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Capiovy. After having played for 24 minutes, Bernabe Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Capiovy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Gotzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Rami hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Chus in the 31st minute of play forced Deportivo Capiovy's goalkeeper Trinidad Plummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ramiro Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Rami hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo Capiovy's Armando Solustiano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pringles's Silvano Sabino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Godofredo Odol in the 45 minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Deportivo Capiovy's Godofredo Odol got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pringles's Silvano Sabino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Godofredo Odol in the 60 minute of the game. Virgulino Ferreira's late challenge caught a Pringles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgulino Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 minutes, Cirilo Peruxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Capiovy and the Pringles players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pringles booed when Deportivo Capiovy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Ermengol came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Capiovy's Bernabe Gotzon. But to his dismay, Bernabe Gotzon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 78 minutes into the match, Aaron Uxio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Ermengol. Pringles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Uxio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Cirilo Peruxu came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Deportivo Capiovy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Peruxu couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Ramiro Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Capiovy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pringles had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
