The Puelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Esteve Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. Puelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PAKO KART the free kick. Faustino Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Tancredo having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustino Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
