Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 15th minute Octavio Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriana Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caranchos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isaac Quilino was slow to take the kick. During this time Rey Buitre F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Caranchos's goalie and right to Octavio Salomon. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Caranchos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 16th match minute, Rey Buitre F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Salomon to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Niceto Brion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rey Buitre F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caranchos the free kick. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Reynaldo Garikoitz with Octavio Salomon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 28 minutes, Adolfo Cristos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Caranchos's Adriana Iaki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Harri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Lucado went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Caranchos getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Vicente Oto hit a great ball. With 38 minutes on the clock, Rogelio Chesus commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caranchos! Adriana Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Carolo Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Cristos was the one to do the kick off. Adrian Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Baldomiro Harri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caranchos's Adriana Iaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Cristos in the 55th minute of play. Baldomiro Harri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Lucado's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Caranchos's Adriana Iaki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Caranchos from getting a goal against them. After having played for 62 minutes, Carolo Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caranchos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Fliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Caranchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Oto to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes Caranchos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isaac Quilino who took care of the corner kick. 67 minutes into the match, Caranchos's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Cristos came free, but Adriana Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Lucado in the 69th minute of play forced Rey Buitre F.C.'s goalkeeper Baldomiro Harri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caranchos's Gustavo Tirso got a free kick in the 70th minute. Niceto Brion came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adriana Iaki could save by the left post. Adriana Iaki made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Niceto Brion sent off a good shot on target. Adolfo Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Caranchos's Carolo Fliz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Caranchos booed when Rey Buitre F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Veland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Dionisio Natanael sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rey Buitre F.C.'s Baldomiro Harri didn't even have to move.
