Blas Leizarraga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Oroño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Demario came free, but Blas Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Bemabe scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Leizarraga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute Isidoro Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Leizarraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Oroño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Barea came free, but Blas Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Bemabe scored 0-3 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Leizarraga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remigio Demario in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Leizarraga saved Oroño AFC from getting behind. Delmiro Bemabe took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Leizarraga. Blas Leizarraga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Blas Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Barea in the 23rd minute of the match. Oroño AFC's Blas Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Barea in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes C.A CORRE GUACHIN got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Gaizkine. In the 31st minute Zeca Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Mikelar made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Vali Mangra sent off a good shot on target. Vali Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Mikelar having to interfere. Blas Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Bemabe in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Vali Mangra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ramiro Mikelar. The goal made the score 1-4. After some careless play in the Oroño AFC defense, Marcelo Mikolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Leizarraga. The Oroño AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Leizarraga should have stopped the shot. After the first half C.A CORRE GUACHIN were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Demario to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Iker Sandalio put in a rough tackle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Mikolas got free with Blas Leizarraga in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oroño AFC's Blas Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Demario in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Delmiro Bemabe took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Blas Leizarraga to make any attempt to save it. Vali Mangra hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Delmiro Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Leizarraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Oroño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Mikolas came free, but Blas Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oroño AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Isidoro Barea scored to the left of an out of position Blas Leizarraga, making the score, 1-9. C.A CORRE GUACHIN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
