Arnulfo Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulrick Munkbøl having to interfere. In the 26th minute Agustin Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrick Munkbøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Vergara's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Gaur came free, but Patricio Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Buenos Aires FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Gaur. With a little luck, Vergara's Patricio Ereinotz got control of the ball when Saturnino Camerino tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Gaur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Saturnino Camerino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vergara's Patricio Ereinotz. Patricio Ereinotz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ulrick Munkbøl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After having played for 73 minutes, Isaac Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vergara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Tibalt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Gaur in the 75th minute of play forced Vergara's goalkeeper Patricio Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Saturnino Camerino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrick Munkbøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Matei in the 81st minute of the match. Isaac Tibalt struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ulrick Munkbøl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vergara. When Israel Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Vergara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Raymond couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Raebert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buenos Aires FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vergara the free kick. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires FC's Lorenzo Raebert got a free kick in the 88th minute. Buenos Aires FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Vergara for much of the match.
