An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Alberto Kempe in the 13th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO MATADOR's goalkeeper Rolando Leocadio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Mario Alberto Kempe put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Leocadio. In the 22nd minute Mario Alberto Kempe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Leocadio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO MATADOR's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Ronaldo came free, but Rolando Leocadio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Mario Alberto Kempe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 40 minutes into the match, Luizão Ronaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Leocadio. CLUB ATLETICO MATADOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizão Ronaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luizão Ronaldo took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Leocadio. Rolando Leocadio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rolando Leocadio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempe, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Rolando Leocadio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempe in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Luizão Ronaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deport Blitz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão Ronaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Leocadio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Alberto Kempe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Leocadio having to make a save. With his leg Rolando Leocadio managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Deport Blitz FC's Luizão Ronaldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mario Alberto Kempe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Leocadio having to interfere. CLUB ATLETICO MATADOR's Rolando Leocadio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Alberto Kempe in the 94th minute of play. Deport Blitz FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
