Ivar Rõõm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Gotzon having to interfere. Feliciano Gotzon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lauder Bonison went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Enrique Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Colas in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Quiroga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Janpier made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Esteve Gregory sent off a good shot on target. Enrique Janpier didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Enrique Janpier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvio Nicholas in the 20th minute. Giannis Ikonomidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Quiroga AFC's Epifanio Odilon got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 29 minutes, Lauder Bonison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quiroga AFC and the Don Rosendo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quiroga AFC's Victorino Arias got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Don Rosendo booed when Quiroga AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Janpier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bruno Geleberto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Colas in the 38th minute of play forced Quiroga AFC's goalkeeper Enrique Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Nicholas got free with Enrique Janpier in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliciano Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Ikonomidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 48 minutes into the match, Carmelo Ekhi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Janpier, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giannis Ikonomidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enrique Janpier came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Don Rosendo's Maximiliano Colas. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Colas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Quiroga AFC's Enrique Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Colas in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Don Rosendo's Feliciano Gotzon got control of the ball when Giannis Ikonomidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Maximiliano Colas made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Janpier. Quiroga AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 65th match minute, Don Rosendo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Celio to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Quiroga AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Ekhi came free, but Enrique Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Esteve Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Ekhi's late challenge caught a Quiroga AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Ekhi helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 75 in the game by Giannis Ikonomidis from a close distance when the talented Feliciano Gotzon managed to make a qualified save. Don Rosendo's players were relieved. Enrique Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Giannis Ikonomidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliciano Gotzon. Don Rosendo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giannis Ikonomidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After 88 minutes of play, Quiroga AFC's Filiberto Nalo made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliciano Gotzon was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Quiroga AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cleto Furtado hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Don Rosendo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quiroga AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
