Ernesto Elodio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venancio Marquez made a kick off. Esteban Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Eleuterio Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prospero Benino came out of the goal and Eleuterio Sindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Tano in the 60th minute of play forced ThE mAcHiNa's goalkeeper Prospero Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, ThE mAcHiNa's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Tano came free, but Prospero Benino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Rochahuasi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Sindo to maneuver through the defense. The ThE mAcHiNa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Benino should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rochahuasi FC had played much better football throughout.
