Bernal FC's Hilario Blasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Orlo in the 17th minute of play. Eugenio Incendio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hilario Blasco made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Carolo Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Orlo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hilario Blasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Orlo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Gartxot during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Generoso Gartxot kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Gaskon was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Bertin to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Bernal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Incendio came free, but Hilario Blasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roberto Baleren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Gaskon. Damian Orlo scored 5-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Blasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Gabirel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Bernal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. If Eugenio Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernal FC's Hilario Blasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Orlo in the 87th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Paulo Gaskon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 91st minute, Boca Juniors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Necat Başok fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roberto Baleren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Gaskon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Paulo Gaskon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Baleren. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Gaskon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Bernal FC's Paulo Gaskon got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boca Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bernal FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
