But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Baumar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cafayate's Anton Pavlyk got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Raul Juvenal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cafayate's Faustino Shepherd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faustino Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Llanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Cafayate got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Aztore. In the 11th minute, Robustiano Llorenc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes, locky's Aquilino Eleder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustino Shepherd came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in locky reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Cafayate's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Juvenal came free, but Faustino Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cafayate defense, Raul Juvenal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Shepherd. The Cafayate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Shepherd should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Celestino Madeo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jimeno Telo. The goal made the score 1-1. Benito Milio charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Milio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cafayate's Benito Milio got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Higinio Aztore threw the ball into play from the sideline. locky's Silvano Llanos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Faustino Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Llanos in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd play minute Hipolito Duarte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jimeno Telo. 2-1. In the 36th minute Raul Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Eleder in the 37th minute of play. Faustino Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Eleder, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Benito Milio got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 46 minutes, Raul Juvenal made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cafayate's Faustino Shepherd tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Juvenal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Faustino Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Eleder in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Cafayate getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jacobo Esdras hit a great ball. Jimeno Telo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rogelio Otsoa charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Duarte in the 75th minute of play forced locky's goalkeeper Jimeno Telo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
