Blas Tibalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zamudio's zone, Ricardo Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Oier came out of the goal and Ricardo Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Oier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermegildo Frederik went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Frisco got free with Prospero Benvido in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Zamudio's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Lopes came free, but Horacio Oier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Zamudio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Frederik in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Oier saved Zamudio from getting behind. Horacio Oier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Horacio Oier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Frederik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Lopes in the 26th minute of play forced Zamudio's goalkeeper Horacio Oier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Oier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Frederik, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 35 played minutes Zamudio got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Oinaz. Rosario's Ricardo Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Ermegildo Frederik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Oier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Zamudio's Aquilino Oinaz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Zamudio's Horacio Oier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Lopes in the 45th minute of play. If Ermegildo Frederik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Oier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Lopes in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Rosario's Abelardo Garin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melquiades Frisco in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Benvido saved Rosario from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Frederik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Oier was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Lopes could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Horacio Oier however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Zamudio's Melquiades Frisco got a free kick in the 60th minute. Julian Javiar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Horacio Oier came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario's Ricardo Lopes. But to his dismay, Ricardo Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a little luck, Zamudio's Horacio Oier got control of the ball when Hermengildo Lidon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Lopes got free with Horacio Oier in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horacio Oier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Lopes in the 88th minute. If Ricardo Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Rosario's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Froila came free, but Prospero Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zamudio's Horacio Oier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Frederik in the 96th minute of play. The Zamudio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rosario were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
