The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Iago got free with Celedonio Quinteros in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malena AFC's goalkeeper Celedonio Quinteros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaudencio Bartuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Celedonio Quinteros was a little too slow when Alejandro Checa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. A hard shot 22 in the game by Anibal Iago from a close distance when the talented Celedonio Quinteros managed to make a qualified save. Malena AFC's players were relieved. Anibal Iago made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Celedonio Quinteros would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Anibal Iago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Celedonio Quinteros made a huge save. Celedonio Quinteros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alejandro Checa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Damian Tiniebra hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Malena AFC's goalkeeper Celedonio Quinteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Iago. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Checa to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Anibal Iago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventud de Lanus's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Iago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Quinteros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Iago in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Quinteros saved Malena AFC from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Erubiel Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64thth minute of the game Anibal Iago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malena AFC's Celedonio Quinteros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Juventud de Lanus's Anibal Iago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Quinteros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
