Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Feliciano Llin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Goyeneche's Feliciano Llin got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Feliciano Llin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Viamonte's Manuel Idacio. Manuel Idacio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Viamonte's Manuel Fernandez got a free kick in the 24th minute. Feliciano Llin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Idacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Viamonte were furious when Oscar Fidele was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Viamonte:s Manuel Idacio showed great skill when he stopped Fabio Chorche:s penalty. Casimiro Elequemedo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Viamonte's Manuel Fernandez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half Goyeneche were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Iaki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by German Seber during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With his leg Manuel Idacio managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Goyeneche's Feliciano Llin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ovidio Criston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Viamonte's attentive Ernesto Hotz managed to snatch the ball when Ruben Nastasio made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. A collision led to Goyeneche getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Florencio Muno hit a great ball. Ovidio Criston came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Viamonte's Efrain Iaki. But to his dismay, Efrain Iaki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fabio Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Idacio having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Ernesto Hotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viamonte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goyeneche the free kick. In the 85th minute, one of Viamonte:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Viamonte. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Goyeneche's Fabio Chorche got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Manuel Idacio. Efrain Iaki might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Criston. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efrain Iaki ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Viamonte's Manuel Idacio got control of the ball when Cayetano Jurgi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goyeneche walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
