Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severiano Sazon kicked off to start the match. Emanuel Luken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Sazon in the 3rd minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Betania's goalie and right to Nick Auffarth. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Betania's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Angel Peter hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Betania's zone, Nick Auffarth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Luken came out of the goal and Nick Auffarth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Luken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Auffarth in the 16th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Severiano Sazon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Betania's Emanuel Luken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 minutes, Nicasio Quintin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Villa Espil and the Betania players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Villa Espil getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nicasio Quintin hit a great ball. Atletico Villa Espil's Mario Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severiano Sazon took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Luken. Emanuel Luken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Atletico Villa Espil's goalkeeper Lino Licerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Phelipe. Emanuel Luken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Sazon's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Mario Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emanuel Luken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Severiano Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Luken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Segundo Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Sazon in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Luken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 45 minutes, Mario Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Villa Espil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Segundo Asier made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Severiano Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Villa Espil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Sazon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Unai kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Betania got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Artal. Emanuel Luken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Sazon in the 64th minute of the match. Ermegildo Phelipe took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Licerio. Lino Licerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Betania's zone, Gaspar Unai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Luken came out of the goal and Gaspar Unai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, Atletico Villa Espil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Unai to maneuver through the defense. If Nick Auffarth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atletico Villa Espil's Lino Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Phelipe in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Betania getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Prospero Giraldo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Severiano Sazon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Luken was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Severiano Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Cesario got free with Emanuel Luken in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Atletico Villa Espil could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Betania throughout the match.
