Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Sabalero FC booed when Aluminé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Marz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Brun, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Aluminé's Rene Alfonso in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sabalero FC's goalie prevented a goal. Damaso Precioso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Alfonso struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Vladimiro Tono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aluminé. Baldomero Rito charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Rito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Sabalero FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Rito. Sabalero FC's Vladimiro Tono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Sabalero FC from getting a goal against them. Aluminé's Raul Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Kiliz in the 26th minute of play. Vladimiro Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Kiliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Raul Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Aluminé:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sabalero FC:s goal. Teobaldo Brun walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rene Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aluminé's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Alfonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Tono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Tono having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 62nd minute Godfredo Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Godfredo Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aluminé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Hegoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfredo Hegoi scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimiro Tono, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimiro Tono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Alfonso's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Aluminé's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Kiliz came free, but Raul Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Tono having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play Sabalero FC's Baldomero Rito was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Baldomero Rito hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabalero FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
