In the 7th minute of the match Carlos Omero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Primo skillfully saved the ball. Roman Bastian ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, one of Pichanas AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pichanas AFC. Bernabe Harriet might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Primo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ash Ketchum 10's Bernabe Harriet got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Bastian got free with Dante Primo in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Bastian to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bastian in the 52nd minute of play forced Pichanas AFC's goalkeeper Dante Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Primo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Roman Bastian sped through Pichanas AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Primo. After a defensive mix-up in Pichanas AFC's zone, Roman Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Primo came out of the goal and Roman Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ismael Enetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ash Ketchum 10's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Enetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Primo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Bastian in the 70th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Roman Bastian sped through Pichanas AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Primo. The audience was convinced that Roman Bastian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Primo was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Bastian in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Primo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Carlos Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. Yaqoub Al Mosawe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Primo having to interfere.
