Felipe Belasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Freddy Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Luxardo AFC's zone, Felipe Belasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Rius came out of the goal and Felipe Belasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Rencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Lore hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Felipe Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bernardo Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Tomás Miro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Rius having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Miro in the 67th minute of play forced Luxardo AFC's goalkeeper Freddy Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montoya AFC's Tomás Miro got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Felipe Belasko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Rius. Luxardo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Belasko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Felipe Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montoya AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Belasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the game, Felipe Belasko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Freddy Rius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Belasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Belasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Luxardo AFC's Teofilo Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montoya AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
