The supporters of Palmar booed when Tapias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Jonatan Mano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapias's Leonardo Librado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Palmar's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Alfonso came free, but Desiderio Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palmar's zone, Christian Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Cambranes came out of the goal and Christian Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Desiderio Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Alfonso in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Alfonso in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Cambranes saved Palmar from getting behind. Leonardo Librado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Mano in the 26th minute. Wilfredo Ordono's late challenge caught a Tapias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Ordono helped the player get up and apologised. Tapias's Leonardo Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Mano in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st minute Natalio Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Natalio Alfonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Mano was the one to do the kick off. The Tapias players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
