In the 10th minute Gavino Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Basualdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Parvadomus FC's Pablo Vasco made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Basualdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonardo FC's Tim Stager quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cecilio Oinaz, made in the 18th minute of the game. In the 20th minute of the match, Gavino Iratzeder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Basualdo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Leonardo FC booed when Parvadomus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Vasco in the 25th minute of play forced Leonardo FC's goalkeeper Jairo Basualdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Parvadomus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Astrada to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, one of Parvadomus FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parvadomus FC. Abel Inge went to the wrong direction when Nereo Frichoso was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Rigoberto Estefan took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Basualdo. Jairo Basualdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 39th minute Gavino Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Basualdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Leonardo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Basualdo should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Parvadomus FC fully deserved thier win.
