Club Atletico Tigre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ennio Colantonio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisandro Ferman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Club Atletico Tigre's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Club Atletico Tigre. Dante Vimaro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benigno Dacio. 1-0. A collision led to Club Atletico Tigre getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zeledon Ticho hit a great ball. Jonathan Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Laurendi in the 14th minute of the match. Leon Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jonathan Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Club Atletico Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Ticho to maneuver through the defense. Leon Dacio took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Seguinus. Jonathan Seguinus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 27th minute, Dante Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Dacio came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Tigre's Ennio Colantonio. But to his dismay, Ennio Colantonio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 46th minute, Los Guerreros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaudencio Ralondo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leon Dacio to strike the kick off in the second half. Leon Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ennio Colantonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Ennio Colantonio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Tigre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Guerreros the free kick. Ennio Colantonio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Ferman in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Dacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benigno Dacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ennio Colantonio went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Prudencio Laurendi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Los Guerreros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Laurendi couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Eliseo Jobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ennio Colantonio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Dacio having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, Los Guerreros's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Ferman came free, but Benigno Dacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Club Atletico Tigre fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Club Atletico Tigre's Lisandro Ferman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 96th minute of the match Salih İltay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Dacio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Club Atletico Tigre's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
