Chilulita Fc.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Revanchistas the free kick. Ildefonso Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Abelardo Jaizki took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Navarro. Bernardino Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Revanchistas's Melquiades Baudelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Chilulita Fc. booed when Revanchistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Melquiades Baudelio came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Revanchistas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Baudelio couldn't finish the play. Serafino Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chilulita Fc.'s Bernardino Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Baudelio in the 29th minute of play. Chilulita Fc.'s Tobias Froila pulled a muscle in his back after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 31 minutes, Samuel Tipi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Revanchistas and the Chilulita Fc. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Revanchistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Tipi to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Melquiades Baudelio put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardino Navarro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Baudelio in the 41st minute of play forced Chilulita Fc.'s goalkeeper Bernardino Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Bide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Baudelio got free with Bernardino Navarro in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th match minute, Revanchistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Felipillo to maneuver through the defense. Serafino Conrao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Bide in the 61st minute of play. Chilulita Fc.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodrigo Gagriel in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Chilulita Fc. booed when Revanchistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Baudelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Revanchistas's zone, Rodrigo Gagriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Conrao came out of the goal and Rodrigo Gagriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalo Felipillo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Felipillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Melquiades Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Revanchistas's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Baudelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melquiades Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bernardino Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, one of Chilulita Fc.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chilulita Fc.. The goalkeeper, Bernardino Navarro, was totally fooled by Revanchistas's Jaime Monte, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Montrel got free with Bernardino Navarro in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Melquiades Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Baudelio struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Bernardino Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revanchistas. Sebastian Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Navarro having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Ildefonso Rufo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chilulita Fc. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.
