Jesus Gizon started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Pavón's goalkeeper Carmelo Honesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Vincent. Jesus Gizon hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Evelio Vincent took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Honesto. Carmelo Honesto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Álvaro Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Gizon in the 10th minute of play. When Angelino Oxel fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pavón's protests and gave Angelino Oxel a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Pavón got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Oxel. Carmelo Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebi Smolarek in the 12th minute of play. Carmelo Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Mendebal in the 14th minute of play. Pavón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Camilo Eneko scored to the left of an out of position Carmelo Honesto, making the score, 2-0. Ciro Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Oxel in the 26th minute of play forced Neo Posadas FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Manuel Hustaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Honesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Neo Posadas FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ciro Raymond hit a great ball. Evelio Vincent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Carmelo Honesto made a huge save. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pavón's goalkeeper Carmelo Honesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Neo Posadas FC's Camilo Eneko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After 44 minutes, Victorino Eate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pavón and the Neo Posadas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Neo Posadas FC booed when Pavón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Evelio Vincent got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Evelio Vincent made the kick off in the second half. Pavón were furious when Gustavo Inge was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ebi Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neo Posadas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ebi Smolarek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Honesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Eate hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Carmelo Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Lizar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carmelo Honesto. Pavón's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Pavón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Johans to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Eneko in the 76th minute of play forced Pavón's goalkeeper Carmelo Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Cleto Lizar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmelo Honesto skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Angelino Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pavón's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Oxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Neo Posadas FC's zone, Carmelo Johans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Medeiros came out of the goal and Carmelo Johans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pavón getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Angelino Oxel hit a great ball. Carmelo Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Mendebal in the 87th minute of play. If Evelio Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Johans in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Neo Posadas FC booed when Pavón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavón's Carmelo Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ebi Smolarek in the 98th minute of play.
