Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filiberto Raymundo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, New Cotita's Sixten Lundström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sixten Lundström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of New Cotita protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sixten Lundström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Yuri Velloso went to the wrong direction when Santos Enekoitz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Jorge Clemencin fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salado's protests and gave Jorge Clemencin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Salado's Jorge Clemencin got a free kick in the 8th minute. Eloy Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Galtero in the 14th minute of the match. Eloy Ospetsu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Filiberto Inge sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Salado's Eloy Ospetsu got control of the ball when Filiberto Inge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Filiberto Inge made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Ospetsu. Salado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Erasmo Ubendu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Eloy Ospetsu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ciriaco Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Noe in the 47th minute of play.

After a rather tough play, New Cotita's Benicio Sayvion got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Filiberto Inge came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the New Cotita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Inge couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Galtero in the 55th minute of play forced Salado's goalkeeper Eloy Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Salado's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Inge came free, but Eloy Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Roberto Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Cotita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Astigar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Siro Noe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Inge in the 67th minute of the match. Roberto Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Ospetsu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Siro Noe managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Cotita's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Noe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Ospetsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. New Cotita's Valentin Egun was substituted for Filiberto Inge. In the 74th minute, Valentin Egun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambrosio Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Valentin Egun struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Eloy Ospetsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Cotita. If Valentin Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eloy Ospetsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Valentin Egun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Eloy Ospetsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erasmo Ubendu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Ospetsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Valentin Egun struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Eloy Ospetsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Cotita. Siro Noe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Ospetsu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salado's zone, Siro Noe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Ospetsu came out of the goal and Siro Noe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the New Cotita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
