The supporters of New Cotita booed when Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luciano Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Deunoro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Delmiro Txerran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Cotita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 27th minute Erasmo Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Delmiro Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Cotita's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Txerran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Vergaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luciano Vergaray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filiberto Inge went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Filiberto Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Chico hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Txerran came free, but Luciano Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Txerran in the 47th minute of play forced Brown's goalkeeper Luciano Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruperto Deunoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, New Cotita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Eguerdi to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th match minute, Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Markel to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Delmiro Txerran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Vergaray. Brown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Txerran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Fabio Bikendi hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Luciano Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Inge, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ciriaco Galtero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luciano Vergaray came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciriaco Galtero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Galtero came free, but Luciano Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Luciano Vergaray was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Ciriaco Galtero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciriaco Galtero really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. New Cotita made a substitution. Valentin Egun replaced Filiberto Inge. If Delmiro Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Brown's Gustavo Restu got a free kick in the 80th minute. Delmiro Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Luciano Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown's goalkeeper Luciano Vergaray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Delmiro Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Valentin Egun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luciano Vergaray saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luciano Vergaray came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by New Cotita's Erasmo Ubendu. But to his dismay, Erasmo Ubendu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. New Cotita's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
