But to his dismay, Primitivo Herauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Epifanio Firme made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Ospetsu. Salado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Epifanio Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eloy Ospetsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Herauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Alberdi's Epifanio Firme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Ospetsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ambrosio Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Salado got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Playo. Eloy Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Ospetsu having to interfere. The Salado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alberdi were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Herauso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Salado's zone, Primitivo Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Ospetsu came out of the goal and Primitivo Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloy Ospetsu stood somewhat misplaced when Primitivo Herauso came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 54 minute. With his leg Eloy Ospetsu managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Alberdi's Primitivo Herauso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aurelio Cloyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Egun in the 64th minute of play. Aurelio Cloyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Clemencin in the 65th minute of the match. Primitivo Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Ospetsu having to interfere. Eloy Ospetsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Herauso's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Salado's Filiberto Raymundo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Astor Clementi's late challenge caught a Alberdi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Clementi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Salado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Clementi to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Ospetsu having to interfere. Alberdi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
