Spectators: 6639 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Domingos Transito took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Aimogasta AFC booed when Godoy Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Juan Cordario sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Godoy Cruz's Nestor Derwin didn't even have to move. After 5 played minutes Godoy Cruz got a freekick which was hit by 郑霖星. After a defensive mix-up in Godoy Cruz's zone, Claudio Iraunkor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Derwin came out of the goal and Claudio Iraunkor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Matias Aurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Domingos Transito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Godoy Cruz's goalkeeper Nestor Derwin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Casomiro. When Marcos Socorro came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Godoy Cruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Socorro couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Domingos Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Derwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Socorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rogelio Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Marcos Socorro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Aimogasta AFC's Rogelio Godoy. Rogelio Godoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Blas Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes, Celso Rufio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aimogasta AFC and the Godoy Cruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celso Rufio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Rogelio Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Eudoxio in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Socorro in the 41st minute of play forced Aimogasta AFC's goalkeeper Rogelio Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Celso Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Derwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

60 minutes into the match, Godoy Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Casomiro came free, but Nestor Derwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Aimogasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. When Abelardo Duardo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Godoy Cruz's protests and gave Abelardo Duardo a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Godoy Cruz! Juan Cordario walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 72nd minute, Marcos Socorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Transito in the 76th minute of the match. Godoy Cruz's Nestor Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Casomiro in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Godoy Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Paz. In the 79th minute of the match Juan Cordario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Derwin skillfully saved the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Aimogasta AFC got a corner. Godoy Cruz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan Cordario ran over to the corner to take the kick. Enzo Tabby thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nestor Derwin, a very annoying self made goal in the 81st minute which led to 2-1. Florentino Guerau hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Nestor Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Transito in the 85th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Godoy Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Evis. In the 91st minute Juan Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Derwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godoy Cruz's Nestor Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Transito in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Blas Eudoxio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Godoy Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Godoy Cruz getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Marcos Socorro hit a great ball. Nestor Derwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Iraunkor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Godoy Cruz failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
