Rogelio Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Transito charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Julio Fernanco's late challenge caught a Aimogasta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Fernanco helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, meandes's Julio Fernanco got a free kick in the 21st minute. Claudio Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Moise having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Eriberto Laurendi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rogelio Godoy, 3-0. Filomeno Mino struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Rogelio Godoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for meandes. After a defensive mix-up in Aimogasta AFC's zone, Filomeno Mino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Godoy came out of the goal and Filomeno Mino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Norberto Francesco made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Godoy. Aimogasta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Norberto Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Godoy having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Gervasio Mel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. meandes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aimogasta AFC the free kick. The penalty shot was made by Juan Cordario, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of meandes's Nicanor Moise. 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Flavio Araoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes meandes got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Mino. After having played for 59 minutes, Julio Fernanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. meandes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Fernanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When meandes's Filomeno Mino in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aimogasta AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Aimogasta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Rufio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 81st match minute, Aimogasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Rufio to maneuver through the defense. meandes's Norberto Francesco got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicanor Moise made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Iraunkor in the 84th minute. Filomeno Mino took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Godoy. After 91 played minutes meandes got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Medero. Rogelio Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. meandes fully deserved thier win.
