Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Natalio Montrel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Asur's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Natalio Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Edorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Gowlan's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Asur came free, but Natalio Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Opilano during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gowlan's Natalio Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Colon in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as MANCHESTER UNITED's Iker Asur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natalio Montrel. That made the score 0-1 after 58 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Edorta got free with Natalio Montrel in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Zeledon Isidor came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gowlan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Isidor couldn't finish the play. If Enrique Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Inocencio Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MANCHESTER UNITED's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
