The referee ignored Manantiales's protests and gave Jesus Leizarraga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Manantiales's Jesus Leizarraga got a free kick in the 7th minute. Manantiales's Jorge Piearres got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, ALEMAR's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Leizarraga came free, but Claudio Eron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Damaso Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fábián Pulai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Francisco Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábián Pulai's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Francisco Omero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Haroldo Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábián Pulai in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Omero saved Manantiales from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Haroldo Jaunzuria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Manantiales got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Liberto. When Jesus Leizarraga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. In the 43rd minute, Jesus Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriaan Broers in the 47th minute of play forced Manantiales's goalkeeper Francisco Omero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Piearres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Fábián Pulai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALEMAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábián Pulai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Omero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábián Pulai's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Froilan Ur made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ALEMAR's Matias Estefan. Haroldo Jaunzuria charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Jaunzuria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Haroldo Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Eron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Gizon in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Saturnino Gizon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudio Eron. That made the score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábián Pulai in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Omero saved Manantiales from getting behind. Claudio Eron made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Saturnino Gizon sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of ALEMAR booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes Manantiales got a freekick which was hit by Steffe Nagels. The audience was convinced that Fábián Pulai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Omero was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Francisco Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriaan Broers, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Fábián Pulai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábián Pulai in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Omero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Omero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábián Pulai's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. ALEMAR were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
