Alvaro Urtsin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Estavan in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Arano during the 42nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primitivo Argina was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Primitivo Argina took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Emanuel Leguizamón to make any attempt to save it. Rangel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcira the free kick. The supporters of Alcira booed when Rangel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Estavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Leguizamón having to interfere. With a little luck, Rangel FC's Emanuel Leguizamón got control of the ball when Maximino Celipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alcira's Alvaro Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Roldanillo in the 94th minute of play. Fidel Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Alcira supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alcira would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
