But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Admon couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Ushuaia's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Veronica came free, but Esteve Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Libertad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Victor Veronica made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Libertad. Estudiantes de Ushuaia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gowlan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Venerando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Veronica in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Libertad saved Estudiantes de Ushuaia from getting behind. Evelio Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Libertad having to interfere. Victor Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Esteve Libertad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Eneto got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nicanor Tohias. Nicanor Tohias struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Salamon during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulino Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Nestor Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esteve Libertad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Gowlan's Baldomiro Bidun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Gowlan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
