Aurelio Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Silvino having to interfere. Adriano Paris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eduardo Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Silvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Paris in the 24th minute of the match. If Freddy Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Georg Abrahamsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Silvino was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Gaston Kepel ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Solís's zone, Georg Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Silvino came out of the goal and Georg Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Solís's Orlando Silvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Kepel in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Orlando Silvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Kepel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Abrahamsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Orlando Silvino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Freddy Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Aurelio Tulio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Leones Olavarrienses FC defense, Eduardo Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Belasko. The Leones Olavarrienses FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Belasko should have stopped the shot. Adriano Paris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Orlando Silvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Leones Olavarrienses FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rogelio Reno hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Georg Abrahamsson put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Orlando Silvino. Silvio Belasko came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Solís's Freddy Umea. But to his dismay, Freddy Umea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Orlando Silvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georg Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Freddy Umea hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Leones Olavarrienses FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Solís.
