Everardo Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Pedernera's goalkeeper Everardo Rios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Perpinya. A collision led to Pedernera getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rafael Froila hit a great ball. Severiano Cordairo's late challenge caught a Avellaneda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
